Myself and Lee folding end straps on post thumpers

Picture shows end straps being folded for our Feature Top Estate Fencing hand held post drivers. They can be found on the " Estate Fencing Catalogue/Supply Only "our web site. We sell them to customers who purchase our loose ,weld together Traditional Estate Fencing systems. The thumpers we are making today are for our style 3 & 4 metal Park Fencing posts. The thumper has an internal profile that matches the post top so distortion is minimized when the posts are driven in. We sell these @ £100 + vat . They weigh 25 kgs and are sleeved to fit the Metal fence posts perfectly. From 1990 onwards, for the first 8 years of this business ,i put up about 5000m of Iron Parkland Fencing a year, using one of these. These post thumpers are ideal for customers doing one off jobs who dont want to invest in hydraulic drivers. We will refund £70+ vat to anyone returning one once they have put up their metal fence.The third photo shows a typical self install Estate fencing components order prior to dispatch. Dorling transport with lorries into us on Friday and today to deliver twenty six metal Parkland Tree Guards to the Balcaskie Estate in Fife. These classic tree protectors are all in a rust finish and at 80kgs each are never going to corrode away in any client’s lifetime. We would expect a 100 year plus lifespan. We offer a range of metal tree guards in a variety of finishes, and with planting season upon us, anyone who is planting a lot of trees in a country environment, should consider rust finish tree guards as a serious option. However if this is not for you we also offer Galvanized and galvanized and painted versions for all our range of tree guards.
Also 600m approx of our Metal Estate fencing bound for Lincolnshire along with several different sizes of our metal field gates, corner posts and a quadrant end finisher. More perfect working weather for installing Estate Fencing. About 60 m of our style 2 Metal Fencing, with 4ft and 6ft classic Metal Filed Gates, installed to rust. In about 1 year this traditional fence will be fully rusted and look like it been up for years. We are installing more and more rust finish metal fences and this year they will account for about a third of what we have put up. If you have a period property it’s certainly worth considering. A beautiful set of double gates, to match our Estate Fencing, supplied by us for automation . The gates are hung on wooden posts and we fabricated and supplied the post caps.
