Here's one I made earlier. This 3m x 3m 450kgs gate was
reproduced as an exact copy of a Victorian gate at the
other end of this “cart way”.
If you look closely at this picture you will see that
I have welded an eye on to the above horizontal rsj and
used a block and tackle to winch this gate off the trailer
and into place.
This heavy gate was fitted safely, without lifting gear,
in the centre of London in a morning by myself and one
helper. Job well done!
